What to Do with Your Real Christmas Tree?

After the festive season, deciding how to dispose of your real Christmas tree can be a bit of a puzzle. We're here to make it simple, mess-free, and in support of a wonderful cause. Choose the option that suits you best below:

1. Tree Collection Service

Let the Gifted Smile team and our cheerful elves do the heavy lifting for you! If you live in the LS22 postcode area, we'll come straight to your door, collect your tree, and ensure it's recycled responsibly—no needles in your car, no trips to the tip. Simply book your collection and we'll handle the rest.

2. Tree Drop-Off Point

Prefer to drop off your tree yourself? No problem! Bring your real Christmas tree to our designated drop-off location, where our team will be ready to take it off your hands and ensure it's chipped and re-purposed. It’s quick, easy, and supports the valuable work we do.

However you choose to say goodbye to your Christmas tree, you’ll be helping us spread smiles while keeping things sustainable. Thank you for your support!

Tree Collection and Drop-off Details

​Tree Collection Service (LS22 Postcodes Only)

  1. For a donation of £15 per tree, our elves will collect your tree right from your doorstep.

  2. We are currently only able to collect from addresses with an LS22 postcode due to resource limitations.

  3. Book your collection easily above before the deadline of January 6th 2026.

  4. You’ll receive a confirmation email.

  5. We will collect your tree on either Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th January 2026.

  6. Please leave the tree outside your property before 9am on the day of collection, ideally leave on a drive or front garden. Please do not let trees block pavements and highways

 

Tree Drop-off

  1. Prefer to drop your tree off? Visit us at xxxxx on xxxx January between 09:00 and 16:00.

  2. We suggest a donation of £5 per tree—100% of funds raised go directly to charity (cash only please; the nearest cash point is at xxxx).

  3. Your tree will be recycled and turned into compost, helping the environment as well as the community.

  4. Please bring only real trees and make sure all decorations have been removed.​
